Doing stuff "because we have to"
isn't much fun. In fact, even
God isn't excited about forced
obedience. He's far more
interested in motivating us from
the inside, within our hearts,
so that we do good because we
want to. And that only begins to
happens when we understand that
God's commandments are wise -
and that god loves us.
Doing what God commands will
have a positive effect on the
world as it causes us to love
Him and our brothers and
sisters. Pope Benedict XVI says
"that people need to care about
and feel responsible for each
other" - this is what Solidarity
means.
God had a part for each of us
to play in changing the World.
If we take steps to become
better people, our world will
change.
Change
the world...
